I fell in love with the practice of Hatha yoga during my teacher training. Hatha yoga is the traditional form of yoga and is all about creating balance in the body, quietening the mind and expanding consciousness.
I offer pregnancy yoga classes suitable for women in their second and third trimesters. These classes will be tailored to the needs of each individual and will aim to restore and rejuvenate energy levels.
My classes are powerful yet relaxing and suitable for all levels. I hold a safe and nurturing space for you to journey inwards.
We create balance in class by focusing on the breath, moving through postures (asanas), meditation and by using other tools such as mantra and sound healing to deepen our practice.
We move slowly through sequences to get the full benefit of each asana - remembering that as we open and stretch our body, toxins are removed and the body becomes supple and steady. Correct alignment is vital and I will gently adjust you throughout class.
Relaxation is fundamental in class and you can think of my classes as a beautiful mix of Hatha and Restorative yoga. This, to me, creates the perfect balance between the masculine and feminine energies we all have within us.
